Matthew Hyland has over 25 years of experience in financial and operational leadership across various sectors. Currently serving as CEO of Ultra Commerce since November 2015, Matthew leads a fully integrated headless eCommerce platform that supports the growth of businesses of all sizes. Previously, Matthew held the role of Group Chief Financial Officer at Nextgen Group Holdings Pty Ltd, overseeing multiple businesses in data transmission, data centers, cloud services, and submarine cable projects. Matt's earlier experience includes Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations at Fox Sports Australia, Director of IT Services Business Transformation at Telstra, General Manager of Group Finance and Planning at Optus, and Head of Finance and Operations for Corporate Clients at British Telecom. Throughout Matthew's career, responsibilities have encompassed financial management, commercial oversight, strategic planning, and operational transformation.
