Deepak Pal is currently working as a Senior Consultant Technical Lead at Ultra Commerce since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Intershop Asia Pacific from July 2019 to November 2021. Before that, they held the role of a Solution Architect at Wunderman Thompson Commerce from July 2016 to June 2019 and a Senior Technical Consultant from October 2010 to June 2016. Deepak has also worked as a Module Lead at Wunderman Thompson Commerce from October 2006 to February 2010. Deepak started their career as a Software Engineer at GenX Info Technologies Pvt Ltd from September 2005 to October 2006 and also briefly worked as a Technical Associate at Tech Mahindra in 2010.

Deepak Pal completed their Bachelor's degree in IT from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University from 2001 to 2005. Deepak then pursued a One Year Post Graduate Executive Program for Young Managers at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta from 2007 to 2008. Later, Deepak completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, they participated in a 2 Weeks International Student Exchange Programme on Innovation and Design Thinking at ESCP Business School.

Currently, Deepak is pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence at the Swiss School of Business and Management from 2021 to 2023.

Deepak Pal has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include the "Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals" from Microsoft in August 2021, "RU102J: Redis for Java Developers" from Redis Labs in February 2021, and "Managing Technical Teams" from Lynda.com in May 2019, among others.
