Emma Ayech has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Emma started their career at Discovery Inc as a Planning Editor from 2001 to 2004. Emma then worked as a Continuity Producer from 2004 to 2005. In 2006, they joined Virgin Media Television as a Scheduler for Living until 2008. Emma then moved to UKTV where they held various roles, including Scheduler for Watch from 2008 to 2011, Senior Scheduler for Yesterday from 2011 to 2012, Programming Manager for Dave from 2012 to 2015, and General Manager for Eden, Good Food, Home, and Really from 2015 to 2017. Their most recent role was as Channel Director for Drama and Alibi at UKTV, where they led channel strategy and successfully developed a new long-term strategy and clear editorial vision for the Alibi brand.
Emma Ayech earned a BA Hons in History and Politics from The University of Manchester, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Prior to this, they attended the City of London School for Girls.
