Viraj Thakur is an experienced technology professional currently serving as Head of AI Architecture at UKG since December 2020, after holding various senior roles including Senior Principal Architect and Director of People Insights and Data Science. Prior to this, Viraj worked at Kronos Incorporated from October 2014 to November 2020, specializing in Workforce Ready and Workforce Dimensions as a Software Architect focusing on advanced analytics and healthcare analytics. Earlier experience includes positions as Data Architect at Optum-UnitedHealthGroup and leading Business Intelligence initiatives at Kronos from 2003 to 2013. Viraj began a career in software engineering with roles at Fastchannel Network Inc., Integrated Development Enterprise, and Concentra Managed Care. Education includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, and Southern New Hampshire University, culminating in a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems.
