Alejandro Mesa is a Principal Software Engineer and Tech Lead at UKG since December 2021, with a prior tenure at Ultimate Software from June 2011 to November 2021, where roles included Principal Architect, Software Engineer Technical Lead I, and Platform Lead Engineer in Talent Management. Alejandro has extensive experience leading technical teams in developing user-centered experiences, enhancing Talent Management and Compensation Management products, and has a notable background in refactoring frameworks to optimize performance. Previous contributions also include designing a community service search engine and an online content management system for Citizens For Social Justice and developing internal services during an internship at Western Union. Alejandro holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Florida, obtained in 2011.
