Joe Weston worked at UK Power Networks from July 2014 to the present. Joe started as a Disconnection Co-ordinator and later became a Project Design Engineer. From December 2018 to January 2022, they held the position of Senior Project Designer, where they designed electrical infrastructure for large domestic, commercial, and industrial supplies. Currently, Joe is working as a Lead Design Engineer, responsible for mentoring a team of trainee and junior designers. Prior to their time at UK Power Networks, Joe worked at Tesco as a Retail Manager from September 2006 to July 2014.

Joe Weston attended the University of Canterbury from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a degree in Sport Science with a focus on Sociology.
