Elyse Uwimpaye is a Power Systems Engineer currently employed at UK Power Networks, specializing in power system analysis and flexible connections to support the net zero journey. Previous experience includes a role as a Power Systems Design and Analysis Graduate Engineer at SP Energy Networks, focusing on Low Voltage electrical systems, and as a SAR Test Engineer at UL, conducting SAR/RF testing for various generations of wireless technologies. Elyse also completed an internship at the University of Edinburgh School of Engineering, analyzing PCB designs, and has served as a Global Buddy Representative, assisting international students. Additionally, Elyse has experience in power electronics at Asteria: Space and Satellites, leadership roles in the academic community, and has contributed to mentoring programs in Rwanda. Elyse holds a Master's degree in Data Science, Technology and Innovation and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Edinburgh.
