Álvaro Menezes is an experienced Overhead Line Design Engineer currently working for UK Power Networks since August 2023, focusing on the design of 33kV and 132kV overhead power lines. Previously, Álvaro served as a Senior Engineer at BakerHicks from July 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included feasibility studies, detailed design, and technical reporting for OHL projects up to 400kV. Álvaro's experience also encompasses project management as a Design Manager at Enel Group in Brazil, overseeing HVAC overhead line projects and leading multidisciplinary teams. An engineering career that began as an Overhead Line Design Engineer at Engelineas Consultoria E Projetos includes significant contributions to OHL services and assessments across South America.
