Ahmed Alabed is a seasoned professional in security risk management with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Security Risk Manager at Cowater International since August 2023, Ahmed oversees projects and activities in Libya. In parallel, Ahmed functions as a Risk Management and Emergency Response Coordinator for Harouge Oil Operations, focusing on the safety of personnel and assets. Previous roles include Security Advisor at UK-Med and Safety/Security Advisor at Control Risks, where Ahmed developed security protocols and emergency plans. Ahmed also worked as a Senior Security Associate for the World Health Organization and held various positions in safety and security within the Norwegian Refugee Council and Danish Refugee Council. Holding an MBA from the Libyan Academy of Graduate Studies, alongside a Higher Diploma in Environment and Pollution and a diploma in Health, Safety, and Environment, Ahmed combines academic expertise with practical knowledge to address security and safety challenges.
