Melissa Lewins is currently a Data Analyst at UK Biobank since August 2023. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Edinburgh from September 2018 to August 2023. Melissa has a background in Pharmacology with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Newcastle University, and also holds a Master's degree in Neuroscience from the same institution. In addition, Melissa completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Precision Medicine at The University of Edinburgh. Melissa has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Assistant, as well as working in roles such as Science Explainer and Phlebotomist.
