Daisy Vinter is a Data Analyst at UK Biobank since February 2023, utilizing R, Python, and SQL for data cleaning, validation, and refinement for the UK Biobank Resource. Prior to this role, Daisy Vinter completed a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at The University of Manchester, where the thesis focused on visualizing hunchback translation dynamics in the Drosophila embryo under the supervision of Prof. Hilary Ashe. Daisy Vinter also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge, working on the creation of a biobank for human pancreatic organoids and optimizing culture techniques. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, obtained in 2015.
