Krysten Backhus, CPA, is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as Accounting Manager at UHY LLP, Certified Public Accountants, since September 2018, having progressed through various roles including Senior Accountant, Senior Staff Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Prior to this, Krysten gained valuable experience as an Audit Intern and Tax Intern at Hungerford Nichols CPAs + Advisors in early 2017 and 2018. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Accounting from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the same institution, with additional studies at Wayne State University.
