Marcello Folli is a spectrum management engineer at Fondazione Ugo Bordoni, with expertise in 5G study and diffusion activities, including supporting the Italian Ministry of Economic Development in the establishment of a national monitoring system for radio spectrum management. Responsibilities include managing the transition of the 700 MHz band to 5G through the definition of geographical areas and conducting experimental studies on technology coexistence. Additionally, Folli has served as a researcher for Fondazione RESTART and as a delegate for the International Telecommunication Union and the Electronic Communications Committee. Folli holds a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications for Energy and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications for Sustainable Development, both from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
