Asuman Ratibu has over 22 years of experience in the field of analytical chemistry, currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Uganda Industrial Research Institute since June 2000. Asuman has expertise in developing testing methods and operating various analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, and FTIR, along with significant experience in manufacturing support laboratories. Prior experience includes a role as Lab Analyst at British American Tobacco, where responsibilities involved supervising laboratory analysts and writing KPI reports. Asuman holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA in Operations Management from ISBAT University and UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Kyambogo University, and a recent Diploma in Project Management from Galilee International Management Institute.
