Stefano joined ENEL in 2017 as Head of Global Optical Fiber Infrastructure, and more recently as Head of the Global E-City Business Line within the newly formed ENEL X. He began his R&D career over 25 years ago. years, moving progressively into various leadership roles within Telecom Italia, KPN-Qwest, AT&T and Alcatel-Lucent. For the past ten years he has been based in Italy serving within Alcatel-Lucent as CEO of Italy and the Mediterranean Region, and more recently as CEO of SIRTI, the leading Italian engineering company operating with over 4,500 people in the telecommunications sector. . Stefano was an officer in the Italian Navy and holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering with honors.
