Debora De Angelis has been a dedicated leader in labor relations since January 2000, primarily with the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW Canada). Serving as Project Manager for the Uber & UFCW Canada National Agreement, Debora negotiates agreements and supervises representatives assisting drivers with disputes. As Director for the Ontario Region, leadership includes managing National Representatives supporting local unions. Debora also coordinates strategic campaigns to expand UFCW Canada’s reach in various sectors and chairs the Women & Gender Equity Committee, focusing on initiatives promoting women's leadership and addressing violence against women. Additionally, Debora has served on the boards of the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers Inc. and the Workers Health & Safety Centre, and held the position of OFL Vice-President Representing Youth from 1997 to 2003. Debora holds a Bachelor of Arts in Labour Management Relations from the University of Toronto.
