Andres Marquez-Lara

Andres Marquez-Lara has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2011, they founded Promethean Community LLC, where they acted as a Passion Catalyst and facilitated workshops to improve team efficiency in social and environmental impact projects. In 2012, they became a Senior Fellow of the Center for Excellence in Public Leadership at George Washington University. From 2017, they served as Faculty at Executive Master in Policy Leadership at Georgetown University, teaching courses and receiving high praise for their teaching abilities. Andres also held various roles at Georgetown University, including Guest Lecturer for the OAS School of Governance and Adjunct Faculty at the Institute for Transformative Leadership. In 2019, they worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Ambershore Group, aligning commercial activity with shared human values. In 2020, they co-founded Operation COVID-19, a venture focused on connecting medical supplies with organizations fighting the pandemic. Andres also founded UFacilitate, where they currently serve as the Founder & CEO, helping purpose-driven leaders align their teams towards joyful and powerful action. In 2022, they worked as a crypto consultant for social impact organizations. Andres is set to become an Industry Advisor at Emergence@Stanford in 2023, providing expertise in leadership development and collaboration in an entrepreneurship program. Andres has also written a book titled "Facilitating Leadership A Quick And Easy Guide To Leading with Brain, Heart & Soul," which was self-published in 2023. Andres Marquez-Lara began their education at The Wellington School, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 1996 to 2000. Andres then attended Duke University from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2004, they pursued a Specialization in Clinical Community Psychology at UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, which they completed in 2009. To further enhance their skills, in 2009-2010, they obtained a Six Sigma Certificate as part of the Program for Excellence in Municipal Management (PEMM) at The George Washington University. Later on, in 2016, Andres completed a program called altMBA, although no degree or field of study is mentioned for this particular program.
