Stephen Dawson has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Stephen started their career in 1997 as a Deputy Project Leader at the British Council (EU TACIS PROJECT) and worked there until 1999. From 1999 to 2005, they worked at T.E.A.M. Marketing as a Venue Manager & Domain Leader Finals.

In 2005, they joined FC Barcelona as the Head of International Events and held this position until 2013. Stephen then worked at FIFA in different roles, including Assistant General Coordinator and General Coordinator for various locations between 2012 and 2018.

In 2014, Stephen Dawson joined UEFA as the External Venue Operations & Broadcast Manager for Club & National Team competitions. Stephen also worked as a Broadcast Liaison Officer for UEFA EURO 2016 France and UEFA EURO 2020.
