Emanuele De Santis has extensive work experience in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) and software engineering. Emanuele has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

At UEFA, Emanuele currently serves as an ICT Cloud Solution Expert. Emanuele is responsible for analyzing and designing application services in compliance with UEFA standards. Emanuele leads a development team in charge of transforming and modernizing enterprise solutions, managing maintenance activities, and overseeing the adoption and implementation of Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

Prior to joining UEFA, Emanuele worked at Deltatre, where they held multiple roles including Service Delivery Manager, Integration and Release Manager, and Release Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for managing development environments, defining strategies for code integration, and ensuring smooth software release management. Emanuele also had ITIL Foundation Qualification and was involved in complex software release activities in the sport domain.

Before Deltatre, Emanuele worked at Rcslab as a Product Lead and at Motorola as an SW Engineer. At Rcslab, they had a leading role in product development, while at Motorola, they focused on developing software applications for network management and optimizing the quality of service for cellular networks.

Earlier in their career, Emanuele worked as a Network Engineer at Altran and Telecom Italia Lab. In these roles, they were involved in network engineering tasks and contributed to network optimization and management projects.

Emanuele De Santis completed their education at the Politecnico di Torino from 1996 to 2002. Emanuele obtained a Laurea in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni with a specialization in Mobile Network. Prior to that, their education history includes attending the Liceo Scientifico F.Capece, where they obtained a Maturità scientifica. Additionally, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2015.
