Dr. Angela Honegger has a diverse work experience in various industries. Dr. Angela is currently the Vice President of Innovation at UE LifeSciences, a women's health company that focuses on providing accessible and efficient early detection of cancers. In this role, they collaborate with leading organizations to scale women's health equity and accessibility globally.

Prior to their current role, Dr. Honegger worked in strategic partnerships at UE LifeSciences. Dr. Angela also served as the Community Champion for the DACH region and a Curator at the Global Shapers Community, where they worked on community building and shaping global agendas.

Dr. Honegger was a Mercator Fellow at Mercator Kolleg für internationale Aufgaben, where they focused on accelerating innovation for basic needs to improve the quality of life for people living in poverty. Dr. Angela also worked as a Consultant at the International Finance Corporation and Ashoka, contributing to projects in the areas of international cooperation and sustainability.

During their time as the President of Student Impact, a university-based consultancy, Dr. Honegger led a team of consultants in supporting environmentally and socially sustainable start-ups and SMEs. Dr. Angela also gained experience as an Intern at etventure, BMI Lab, flexperto, and PvL Partners, where they developed their skills in various business-related areas.

Dr. Angela Honegger has an extensive education history. Dr. Angela obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Frugal Innovation from the University of St.Gallen, which they attended from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, they completed an online course in Business Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge in 2018.

In 2016 to 2017, Dr. Honegger pursued a Master's Degree in CEMS Master's in International Management from CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education. Dr. Angela also holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance, which they earned from the University of St.Gallen from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in International Affairs at the University of St.Gallen from 2011 to 2014. During their undergraduate studies, they participated in an exchange semester at Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management in 2013-2014.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Honegger has obtained various certifications. Dr. Angela holds the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org, the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance, and the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification, also from Scrum Alliance. Dr. Angela received these certifications in July and August of 2022.
