Maria Yefimova has a diverse background in the healthcare industry. Maria currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Francisco, specializing in Physiological Nursing. Maria also holds the position of Lead Nurse Scientist at UCSF Health.

Previously, Maria held leadership roles at Stanford Health Care, where they served as the Director of Academic Nursing and Patient Care Research. Maria Yefimova completed their Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at UCLA from 2007 to 2011. Maria then pursued their Master's Degree in Nursing Science at UCLA from 2011 to 2014. Maria continued their education at UCLA, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing from 2011 to 2016.
