Olivia D. is an Expert Housing Advisor at the National Homelessness Advice Service since May 2023, providing specialist housing consultancy to professionals and representing the organization on the Anti-Racism, Equity and Inclusion Forum. Prior experience includes roles at Shelter UK as a Helpline+ Advisor, Involvement Coordinator, and Helpline Advisor from September 2020 to May 2023. At Lancaster University, Olivia served as Assistant Dean, Academic Representative for MA Gender and Women's Studies, and Student Ambassador from June 2019 to July 2020. Additional volunteer experience includes positions with Sexpression:UK, where Olivia was a Volunteer Teacher and Advocacy & Creative Officer, and leadership roles such as President of InterVol and Project Development Intern at Lune Valley Swimming Pool. Olivia's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Gender and Women's Studies and English from Lancaster University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, also from Lancaster University.
