Nicolas Hug has over 35 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as the Product Technical Lead at UCB since December 2019, where the focus is on developing solutions for patients with unmet needs. Prior to this role, Nicolas was the Head of Industrial Biotech Center of Excellence and General Manager at UCB Farchim from April 2015 to November 2019, overseeing global biotech operations and managing the Swiss facility in Bulle. Earlier experience includes serving as Product Technical Lead at UCB, MARS Project Director Operations at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, and multiple senior roles at Chiron Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed manufacturing operations, strategic planning, and quality control for vaccine production. Nicolas began a career at Serono as Head of QA in QC labs. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Lausanne and further studies at IMD.
