Nicolas Pericles Liakopulos has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and business development. Nicolas Pericles began their career in 1987 as an Account Executive for NCR Corporation, where they successfully closed multiple implementation projects in the Caribbean and Latin America market.
In 1990, Nicolas joined DePaul University as a Research Specialist, conducting comprehensive research and compiling reports for the Chairman of the Economics Department.
From 1993 to 2012, they worked at IGA, INC. in various roles, including Director of Management Information Systems and Vice President of Information Technology. During their time at IGA, they implemented a computer system, including a local area network for 200 end-users, resulting in a significant increase in productivity. Nicolas Pericles also implemented an Association Management System to streamline membership billing and event management processes.
In 2013, Nicolas joined Keystone Business Services as a Senior ERP/CRM Executive Consultant, where they managed clients throughout their entire life-cycle and designed and implemented business solutions using cloud computing software such as NetSuite and Salesforce.com.
Nicolas Pericles then moved on to UCAN (Chicago) in 2014, initially serving as the Vice President of Information Technology & Systems before being promoted to Chief Information Officer (CIO). In their role as CIO, Nicolas was responsible for providing innovative solutions that fused business and technology, focusing on business development, product marketing, and new technology implementation.
Throughout their career, Nicolas has demonstrated expertise in infrastructure and database development, systems maintenance, and multilingual communication in Spanish, Italian, Greek, and English.
Nicolas Pericles Liakopulos has a strong educational background with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. Nicolas Pericles completed their M.B.A. program in Marketing Research & Finance, starting in 1991 and graduating in 1993. Prior to their M.B.A., they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at DePaul University from 1982 to 1986.
In addition to their formal education, Nicolas has also obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. Nicolas Pericles completed the "Optimizing Your Work with Microsoft 365" certification from LinkedIn in August 2023. Nicolas Pericles also obtained the "Embracing Change" certification from LinkedIn in September 2018. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying current with advancements in technology and adapting to changes in the business environment.
