Felix Baumer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in optimization and automation, currently serving as the Head of Optimization & Automation CoE and Director at UBS since November 2017. Baumer has held various leadership roles within UBS, including Regional Lead of Automation at Global Wealth Management Americas and Cognitive Automation Lead. Prior to UBS, Baumer worked at BLR as a Senior Legislative Analyst and at SLG as a Strategy Management Consultant. Early career experience includes an internship at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Basel and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Leipzig University, along with studies at Sogang University and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Areas of expertise encompass Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Robotic Process Automation.
