Michael Meador is an experienced lighting artist with a strong background in the visual effects industry, currently serving as a Lead Lighting Artist at Ubisoft since May 2022. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Retro Studios as a Senior Lighting Artist, following a progression from Level 3 Lighting Artist to Lighting Artist. Experience includes a position as Lighting TD at Method Studios and as Key Lighting TD at MPC, where expertise in Katana, Renderman, Nuke, and Linux was developed. Early career includes work as a 3D Modeler at Point in Time Studios. Michael holds a Diploma of 3D Animation and Visual Effects from Vancouver Film School, completed in June 2015.
