Yinghai Shen has a significant amount of work experience, starting in 2003. Yinghai began their career at Beijing Infu Digital Times Technology Corp., Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, their main responsibilities included software architecture design, system analysis, requirements collection, feature implementation, product quality control, and final deployment. Yinghai worked at the company until 2007. Following that, Shen joined Sony Mobile Communications as a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead. Yinghai'sresponsibilities included software research and development on the Android platform. Yinghai stayed at Sony Mobile Communications until 2011. In 2011, Shen joined Nuance Communications as a Senior Software Developer. Yinghai'sresponsibilities included designing, documenting, implementing, testing, and delivering high-performing document distribution applications. Yinghai worked at Nuance Communications for four years until 2015. Finally, Shen joined Ubiquiti Networks as a Sr. Android Application Developer in December 2015.

Yinghai Shen received a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, where they studied from 1996 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Project Management (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in October 2010, and in MCP/MCSE/MCDBA from Microsoft in July 2002.
