Richard Chen has over 17 years of experience in software engineering. Richard is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Ubiquiti Networks since June 2019. Prior to that, they worked at LILEE Systems from August 2017 to June 2019, where they served as a Software Architect and Software Engineer. In this role, they designed and implemented various features including QoS, VLAN, DSCP classification, and bottleneck bandwidth control.

Before LILEE Systems, Richard Chen worked at LILEE Systems again from September 2010 to April 2017, this time as a Software Manager. Richard led a team of 6 developers and was responsible for task breakdown, prioritization, and software delivery. Richard also worked on performance enhancement for L2 overlay technology and initiated the design of CLI framework and inter-process middleware for fog nodes.

Richard Chen has also gained experience in other companies such as NUUO Inc., QNAP Systems, Essence Technology, and Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer.

Richard Chen attended Da-Yeh University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
