Jimmy Liao has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Jimmy currently works for Ubiquiti Inc. as an Audio AI Engineer since March 2021. Previously, they held roles at HTC as an Assistant Manager from April 2018 to March 2021 and as a Principal Engineer from August 2015 to April 2018.

Before joining HTC, Jimmy worked at Garmin International as an Engineer for a brief period from February 2015 to June 2015. Jimmy evaluated audio algorithms for potential integration into car product prototypes.

Prior to that, they worked at Quanta Computer Inc. as a Specialist from September 2012 to February 2015. Jimmy'sfocus was on developing algorithms for future internet services prototypes.

Jimmy's career started at Realtek Semiconductor Corp. as an Engineer from October 2010 to August 2012. Jimmy conducted research on audio algorithms, with a specific emphasis on spatial audio.

Before that, they worked as a Researcher at Nfore Technology from July 2007 to September 2010. Jimmy researched algorithms in various areas, including speech and audio signal processing, and gained skills in algorithm design, prototyping, and DSP/ARM assembly porting.

Jimmy Liao's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from National Taiwan University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Jimmy later pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics from the same institution, attending from 2003 to 2005.
