Takahiko Ito has been working in the software engineering industry since 2007. Takahiko began their career at Fast Search & Transfer as a Software Engineer, followed by a Software Developer role at Microsoft from 2009-2012. Takahiko then moved to Preferred Infrastructure as a Researcher from 2012-2013, and then to Recruit Technologies Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer and Web Engineer from 2013-2017. In 2017, they worked at Increments, Inc. as a Software Engineer and at Cookpad Japan as a Technical Lead. Most recently, they have been working at FLYWHEEL Inc. as a Software Engineer since 2020, and is currently working at Ubie as a Machine Learning Engineer since 2021.

Takahiko Ito received their Ph.D in Information Science from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology between 2004 and 2007. Prior to that, they received their MS in Information Science from the same institution between 2002 and 2004. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure from Coursera in July 2021.
