Zheli Zheli is a seasoned data scientist and economist with extensive experience in leveraging data science to drive decision-making and strategic initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Uber since October 2024, Zheli previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Udemy, where contributions included enabling product teams through rigorous quantitative methods and leading an experiment review council. Prior roles at The Wharton School involved developing advanced economic models and conducting impactful research on public policy. Zheli's consulting experience includes positions with the Inter-American Development Bank and The World Bank, focusing on wage inequality and trade potential, respectively. Zheli holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics, Mathematics, and German from Washington University in St. Louis.
