Yulan Feng is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in both software development and research. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Uber since November 2022, Yulan specializes in Kafka as part of the Streaming Data Infrastructure team. Prior to this role, Yulan worked at Duolingo as a Software Engineer, focusing on full-stack Android development for retention features that significantly influenced user growth. Yulan has also contributed to research on adaptive spoken dialog systems at Carnegie Mellon University and developed natural language understanding tools at Nuance Communications.
