Omer Bigger is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently leading the Maps organization at Uber since January 2023, Omer is responsible for shaping the basemap that supports millions of rides and deliveries globally. Previously, as Head of Platform Engineering at Miro and Engineering Manager at Booking.com, Omer demonstrated expertise in building scalable platforms and enhancing data access and availability. Omer's career began at Log-On Software, advancing from a Full Stack Developer to R&D Group Leader, overseeing multiple teams and ensuring software quality through agile methodologies. Omer started in automation testing at Harel Insurance & Finance, developing significant testing infrastructure. Omer holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
