David Mogensen

VP, Marketing at Uber

David Mogensen is the current Vice President of Marketing at Uber. David has extensive experience in marketing, having previously served as Director of Marketing for Northern Europe at Google, and National Marketing Manager at BMW of North America, LLC.

Mogensen began their career at BMW of North America in 2001, where they were responsible for planning and executing the brand and product launch communications strategy for the United States. David oversaw the creation and production of fully integrated marketing campaigns, including TV, print, CRM, point of sale, radio, and digital. David also served as Editor in Chief of BMW Magazine.

In 2010, Mogensen joined Google as Director of Marketing for Northern Europe. In this role, they oversaw a team of 50 marketers across six countries and was responsible for all of Google's marketing activities in Northern Europe, including business, consumer, and brand marketing. David was also a member of the Google Northern Europe executive management team.

Mogensen joined Uber as Vice President of Marketing in 2020. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing marketing strategy and plans to support Uber's business objectives.

David Mogensen's educational career includes a BA in Economics from Pomona College, coursework in business and accounting from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University. David also has a Digital Marketing degree from New York University and a Google Wharton Marketing Academy degree from The Wharton School.
