Boqian Jiang is a Senior Applied Scientist at Uber since August 2022, focusing on core-matching. Prior to this role, Boqian served as a Senior Economist and Economist II at Amazon from September 2019 to July 2022, where expertise in Amazon advertising was applied to analyze the impacts of advertising on shoppers through experimentation and causal machine learning. Boqian also worked as an Economist at Amazon Web Services from June 2018 to August 2019, specializing in data science and marketing measurement. Earlier consulting experience at the Chr. Michelsen Institute included analyzing the effects of colonization on ethnic fractionalization in sub-Saharan Africa.
