Junji Tabuchi is a seasoned professional in the field of battery technology, currently serving as Senior General Manager of the Battery Material R&D Department at UBE Corporation since January 2014, after holding the role of Deputy General Manager. Prior experience includes Chief Technology Officer and Secretary at Advanced Electrolyte Technologies LLC, where technology management for lithium-ion battery electrolytes was a key responsibility. Junji has also served as Deputy General Manager at UBE Industries, Ltd. and NEC TOKIN Corporation, managing business operations, R&D, engineering, and manufacturing related to lithium-ion batteries. Earlier roles include Assistant to the President in R&D and Engineering at E-One Moli Energy (Canada) Limited and R&D Manager at NEC. Junji holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemistry from The University of Tokyo.
