Benjamin Byers has worked in the engineering field since 2011. Benjamin began their career as an Engineering Assistant at the Space Dynamics Laboratory in 2011. In 2013, they moved to Hill AFB as an Electronics Engineer. In 2015, they joined iFIT Health and Fitness as an Embedded Software Engineer/Software Engineer III, where they worked on embedded software development for wearable devices and transitioned into working on IoT devices in their last two years. In 2022, they joined UBCO - Electric Adventure Vehicles as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, where they are responsible for building up firmware for the next generation of electric adventure vehicles.

Benjamin Byers attended Utah State University from 2007 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Benjamin continued their studies at the same university from 2014 to 2015, obtaining a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
