Kat Knowles is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as the Communications Manager at UBC Properties Trust since August 2022, Kat oversees all aspects of external marketing communication channels and develops content strategies while managing a direct report. Previously, as a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator at Periphery Digital, Kat managed the company’s blog and social media, ghostwrote for the CEO, and led inbound marketing campaigns. Additionally, Kat gained valuable experience during a marketing internship at Mobify and developed strong organizational and communication skills while working as a Team Lead at The Blue Fox Cafe. Kat holds a Certificate in UI Design from BrainStation and a Diploma in Digital Marketing from RED Academy, along with other educational credentials from Camosun College.
