Oscar Seira is a seasoned research scientist currently at UBC ICORD since February 2019, with prior experience as a postdoctoral researcher at The University of British Columbia from January 2014 to February 2019. Oscar's early career includes a postdoctoral position at CIBERNED in 2013 and a significant tenure at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia from January 2009 to July 2013, where Oscar also began as a PhD student. Additionally, Oscar completed a PhD at IRB Barcelona between November 2006 and December 2008, following an undergraduate degree in Biology from Universitat de Barcelona from 2001 to 2006.
