Justin Wyss (潘建明) is a founder of NovaSense Technology Ltd., a Vancouver-based startup focused on innovative sensing solutions for healthcare, particularly pressure injuries. In addition to entrepreneurial endeavors, Justin serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the School of Biomedical Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC), investigating flexible electronics and advancing the understanding of pressure ulcer formation. Teaching roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in various electrical engineering courses demonstrate strong pedagogical skills. Previous experience includes roles as an Engineering Consultant, President of the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Association, and participation in the Lean LaunchPad program. Justin holds a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and has completed multiple degrees from UBC and Simon Fraser University, including a Data Science Certificate from BrainStation.
