Chuba Ogbue is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in treasury management and business development. Currently serving as the Treasurer at UBA America since November 2022, Ogbue previously held significant roles at UBA Group, including Regional Head of Treasury Sales and Trading for Anglophone West Africa and East and Southern Africa. Ogbue has also contributed as a Partner at IMISI CONSULTING LLP, where strategic financial services were developed, and as Regional Business Lead for West Africa at Thomson Reuters, focusing on client retention and growth. With earlier positions at UBA Group and banks like Access Bank Plc and Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Ogbue has consistently demonstrated expertise in trading, account management, and financial strategy. Academic credentials include an M.Sc. in International Banking & Finance from London Metropolitan University and studies in Mandarin Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University.
