Diego de Sola has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Diego is currently serving as the President & CEO of Grupo de Sola since April 2018. Prior to this, they co-founded and directed Glasswing International starting from June 2007. Additionally, they hold the position of Board President at Inversiones Bolívar since April 2017, and they are a Board Member at Unex El Salvador since April 2014. Diego de Sola also serves as a Director at Grupo El Ángel El Salvador since July 2014. Furthermore, they have been a Member of the LatAm Board of Advisors at Citi Private Bank since June 2016. Most recently, in May 2019, Diego de Sola took on the role of Board President at Uassist.ME.

Diego de Sola obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in 1995 from Cornell University, where they studied for three years from 1992 to 1995. Prior to their time at Cornell, they attended The Hotchkiss School from 1988 to 1991. After completing their undergraduate studies, Diego pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance & Entrepreneurship at the NYU Stern School of Business, which they obtained in 2001. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including being a Member of YPO since March 2016, a YGL of the World Economic Forum since October 2012, and a Fellow & Moderator of The Aspen Institute since October 2006.
