Chip Standifer

Chief Technology Officer at U Scope Technologies

Chip Standifer has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. In 1988, they were the President of VisiSoft, a software consulting group. During their tenure, the company transitioned to a 25-person network management software company, raised two rounds of professional venture funding, and was sold to Unisys in 1993. In 2000, they were the Chief Technology Officer of NetCertainty, where they helped reorganize and re-capitalize the company and ship a document security product. In 2004, they joined NavStar Technologies, Inc. as the first employee and supervised the development of a wireless data network based, voice operated, consumer navigation device. From 2008 to 2012, they were the Vice President of Product Development at LifeSync Corporation, where they assisted in the start up of the company's ATDC-based Atlanta office and recovered software for a shipping product. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Vice President Product Development and Operations at CollectorDASH, LLC, where they established best practices to enable reliable scaling system and standardized the platform for growth and expansion. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Managing Partner at Virtual Design Group, where they had subject matter expertise in design controls, risk management, wireless and mobility, cloud based and mobile software systems, and complex projects requiring the integration of hardware, software, and mechanical technologies. Since 2016, they have been the Chief Technology Officer at U SCOPE Technologies.

Chip Standifer obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
