Grant Nintzel is a professional engineer and project management professional with extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Grant is currently the Director of Engineering at U.S. Silica Company.

Prior to this, Grant served as the Operations Director at Lhoist, where they led all production and distribution at multiple lime production facilities, mines, and processing terminals. Grant managed a team of 10 direct reports and oversaw a total of 350 employees, both union and non-union. Grant also played a key role in transforming the organization's safety program, achieving a 68% reduction in TRIR.

Before joining Lhoist, Grant worked as the Director of Operational Excellence at Oldcastle, a role in which they focused on improving operational efficiency within the company. Grant also served as the VP of Manufacturing at SPG International, LLC.

Grant gained valuable experience during their tenure at Alcoa, where they held multiple positions such as Plant Manager, General Manager, Technical and Maintenance Manager, and Global Project Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for manufacturing operations, supervising teams, implementing operational excellence plans, and achieving significant cost savings through process improvements.

Earlier in their career, Grant worked as a Senior Structural Engineer at qServe and David Evans and Associates, Inc., and as a Structural Engineer at Oldcastle Precast.

Throughout their career, Grant has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a focus on operational efficiency, and a commitment to improving safety. Grant has a proven track record of driving results and delivering substantial cost savings for the organizations they have worked with.

Grant Nintzel PE, PMP holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. Grant also has a Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
