Gary Barksdale is an accomplished law enforcement professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Chief Postal Inspector for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service since March 1999, Gary Barksdale has held various leadership positions, including A/Chief Postal Inspector, Deputy Chief Inspector, and Inspector in Charge. Prior to this role, Gary Barksdale worked as a Detective with the Chesapeake Police Department from March 1992 to March 1999. An alumnus of Old Dominion University, Gary Barksdale earned a Bachelor's degree between 1986 and 1992.
