William Hogan serves as the Deputy Surgeon at NORAD & US Northern Command since September 2022. Prior experience includes a decade-long role as a Joint Planner at NORAD and USNORTHCOM J5 and a position as the Joint Exercise Planner NORAD and USNORTHCOM J7. Hogan has held significant leadership roles, such as Chief of the Plans and Operations Division and Command Surgeon at United States Northern Command, where responsibilities included senior joint medical plans related to Homeland Defense and various other national security operations. Additional experience encompasses management of logistics for the Army Capabilities Integration Center and operational support to military personnel in Italy as Deputy Commander of the 22nd Area Support Group. Educational credentials feature a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Statistics from The Citadel, a Master’s in Acquisition and Project Management from Florida Institute of Technology, and a certificate in Homeland Defense from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
