James Toomey currently serves as a Mobility Operations Officer at NORAD & US Northern Command since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Battalion Executive Officer in the US Army and Support Operations Officer for the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division. Additionally, James held the position of Distribution Integration Branch Chief at the 101st Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade, where responsibilities included managing force designs and material solutions for sustainment units. James has commanded a Transportation Company within the 25th Infantry Division and served in various transportation and logistics roles, including significant operations in Afghanistan. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Business with a focus on Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of New Hampshire.
