Christian Baker is a dedicated political professional with experience in legislative support and civic engagement. Currently serving as a Staff Assistant and Press Assistant for U.S. Congressman Gregory Meeks in the U.S. House of Representatives, Christian has also held positions as a Legislative Intern for both Congressman Meeks and Congresswoman Kathy Castor. Involvement with the Florida Democratic Party's Youth Council aims to amplify the political voice of young Floridians, while experience as a Civic Engagement Organizer with the Florida Student Power Network focuses on enhancing student participation in civic activities. As an Undergraduate Representative for the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity VREM Council, Christian promotes voter registration and education statewide. Previous roles include a Student Intern for Florida State Representative Dianne Hart and a Political Fellow for the Charlie Crist Campaign. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and an Associate of Arts degree in the same field from Tallahassee State College.
