Shannon Lackey has extensive experience in auditing and financial management, currently serving as a Supervisory Auditor at the U.S. EPA Office of Inspector General since January 2017. Previously, Shannon held positions as a Senior Auditor and Auditor within the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as an Accounts Management Representative at the Internal Revenue Service from February 2011 to January 2017, where responsibilities involved conducting confidential tax account interviews and navigating complex tax codes. Shannon began a career in retail at Barnes & Noble, serving as Head Cashier and Lead Bookseller from October 2001 to January 2013, overseeing cash control and leading a team of approximately 15 employees. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University and an Associate's degree in Accounting from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
