Troy Hoefer is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in reservoir engineering and operations within the energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Corporate Reserves Engineer at U.S. Energy Development Corporation since March 2022, Troy previously held key leadership roles, including Executive Vice President Operations at Approach Resources Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing operational strategies and reservoir engineering teams. Prior to that, significant contributions were made at Pioneer Natural Resources Company, culminating in the role of Reservoir Engineering Manager for the South Texas Asset Team, focusing on the growth of Eagle Ford assets. Troy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, awarded in 1987.
